Case Competition

Discover Career Opportunities

The ASCM Case Competition enables undergraduate and graduate students to learn more about supply chain and hone their strategic and tactical skills. Teams explore forward-thinking topics, enhance and test their supply chain knowledge, and discover career opportunities in the field. They work on end-to-end supply chain challenges drawn from real-world experiences, then present their solutions at the ASCM annual conference, where they receive feedback from practitioners in Deloitte’s supply chain practice and ASCM staff members.

Every year, teams of four students begin by competing at their schools for a chance to attend regional competitions. Each team has either a faculty advisor or an industry mentor serving in an oversight role. Many ASCM professional members volunteer to serve as team mentors, ensuring that all participants perform to their fullest potential. The mentor does not help the team with solutions.

Future Industry Leaders

As we continue to face a supply chain talent shortage, this event gives future industry leaders real-world experience; lessons in teamwork; and opportunities to practice high-demand skills, such as negotiation, innovation, long-term thinking and tapping into the latest technological advancements.
